IRPP Publisher Privacy Policy

How IRPP Publisher, an internal IRPP app, handles data from the institute's social media accounts.

1. What IRPP Publisher is

IRPP Publisher is an internal app of the Institute for Research on Priority Populations (IRPP). It is used to publish content on IRPP's official social media accounts and to track how those posts perform. The app is not offered to the public and has no sign-up for people outside the institute.

2. Who is responsible for the data

The data controller is the Instituto de Pesquisa em Populações Prioritárias (IRPP), CNPJ 66.234.909/0001-12, Avenida Luís Viana Filho, 3230, Imbuí, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, CEP 41720-200. For any matter about personal data related to this app, please write to gestao@irpp.org.br.

3. What data the app accesses

The app only accesses what it needs to publish and measure our own content:

IRPP's official social media accounts, connected with the authorization of the team that manages them;
performance data for IRPP's posts, such as reach, number of likes and number of comments.

The app does not access accounts of other people or organizations, does not post on behalf of third parties, and does not sell or share data with anyone.

4. How data is stored

Account access tokens are stored securely, with access restricted to the person responsible for IRPP's social media.
Images and videos to be published are kept in temporary storage only for as long as publishing requires, and are then deleted.
Performance data is used internally only, to assess the reach of IRPP's communication work.

5. Your rights

Under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Lei nº 13.709/2018, LGPD), you may ask us to confirm whether we process your data, and to access, correct or delete it.

6. How to request data deletion

Email gestao@irpp.org.br with the subject "Data deletion - IRPP Publisher", stating which account or data your request refers to. We will confirm receipt and reply within 15 days.

If you connected an account to IRPP Publisher and want to revoke its access, you can also remove the app in the connected apps and websites settings of the social network itself.

7. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page is updated. IRPP's general website privacy policy still applies to the rest of the website.
